The biblical meaning of the number 8 represents new beginnings. Being that we are in the month of August, I figured what a great time to start something fresh and new. This is why Everything Victorious launched this month. To celebrate the birth of this website that embodies love and christian principles, I am giving 10 parents with newborns and expecting mothers a gift of pampers and an exclusive gift from the Everything Victorious shop.
Why? One reason is after seeing my baby cousin, Aiden and my godson, Drew go through pampers on a weekly basis and some of the adjustments that need to be made when a newborn is present, I figured a new parent would appreciate the pampers and a gift of love. However, the main reason is that on the journey of bringing the Everything Victorious vision to fruition I have found myself reborn in Christ and starting my own personal “new beginning.” The way that Everything Victorious started was through a small gift of encouragement to a close family member who was going through a battle with cancer. In those last days of her life all we did was speak life, and positivity, and show her pure love and it changed her attitude and outlook on the situation for the better as well as ours of during that time. We are all capable of changing our attitudes and turning situations around for the better. Only if we cast down the negative thoughts and focus on the positive and do what Philippians 4:8-9 says,
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
To those of you who are on the verge of your own re-birth or new beginning, remember, it is never too late to start, you are never too old, you are never too young, you don’t have to wait until Monday or the weekend, start right when you realize a change needs to happen. Do not get upset if it does not happen over-night. These things take time and if you quit out of frustration you stop moving closer to your goal. Slow progress is still progress.
“For you have been born again [that is, reborn from above– spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] not of seed which is perishable but [from that which is] imperishable and immortal, that is through the living and everlasting word of God.”
